What are these things? Should I add them? My audio works fine already, but I’m curious about their purpose. Do they enhance sound quality? Let me know!

Realtek audio drivers are required only when your system uses a Realtek sound card. Without such a card, you can skip them. When you install both the software and the driver, you'll receive their Sound Manager—a simple interface for managing audio settings.

You receive extra functionalities and corrections mostly. Improved multi-channel handling, more audio editing tools, and port reconfiguration are typical benefits of these drivers.

I found that the AMD high definition audio device uses Realtek drivers. Maybe I misunderstood. That should help clarify things.

It might be the audio processor in your graphics card. Several sound options are usually available.

Ensure the HDMI out is set for audio and verify the software is up to date.
