Hello, I'm facing a tricky problem and need some guidance right now. About a month ago, I installed my first PC. When I opened the BIOS, I noticed my RAM was running at 2133 MHz instead of the advertised 3200 MHz. I set an XMP profile with 1.35V and 3200Mhz. After restarting, it crashed. I tried lowering the speed until it booted, but it dropped to around 2733Mhz. The issue also happened when I got no display input or when fans spun wildly. Eventually, I figured the fix was resetting the RAM to its original 2133MHz setting, which is really frustrating. It seems the problem might be with my motherboard. I have an ASRock B450M Steel Legend -2x8 Gb Geil Super Lite RGB RAM, paired with a Ryzen 5 2600X and AMD Radeon RX 590. If anyone has any suggestions, thanks! P.S. I've already tried overclocking the RAM to higher speeds without success.
