Still not stable: the initial update resolved most problems, but a follow-up patch reintroduced some issues—specifically lag spikes when examining planetary surfaces. This is quite typical during ship operations and rare while walking. I wouldn't invest in it right now given the developers' apparent lack of skill and the risk of further problems. It will likely take time for everything to improve, and even if it functions correctly, the price seems excessive.

It seems they managed another success. Whether people like the present content isn't important. Since Sean's dishonesty is clear, it makes sense to push Hello Games into trouble.
