It works fine for me, but I usually wait for these kinds of newcomers "if it’s like a killer" games. I always check a review for the game I want to try. I keep an eye on Angry Joe’s review if he posts one.

I appreciate the effort, it's taken about 12 hours. I'm on the experimental branch for smoother performance and includes a mouse smoothing feature in the settings (currently set to 0).

Gameplay features lack sufficient depth and repetition for a premium title. No sandbox elements or system integration with future updates. Consider offering during a sale (15–20€).

I suggest exploring games like Stardew Valley or Celeste for a great mix of challenge and fun.

Elite Dangerous excels during battles and ship fights but lacks a narrative. Rebell Galaxy offers enjoyment for players who like third-person combat.

I really like what I'm experiencing so far. I've spent 13 hours and it seems like I've only just begun. I don't mind missing a strict storyline or needing to stick to a particular path—this is exactly how the game is meant to be played, with open exploration and discovery. Of course, not everyone will enjoy it. What bothers me is hearing complaints from people who haven't even played the game themselves, just because someone else shared their opinion. Sure, there are some problems, but it's normal for games to have bugs that get fixed over time.

In No Man's Sky I've completed about 12 hours of playtime so far, still exploring my first solar system. Right now I'm focused on gold farming since my starting planet is packed with resources. I just moved to the experimental branch, hoping it fixes the issue where the game wouldn't open properly. From the desktop I can still manage, which was my previous problem. Personally, I think the game is solid—though I wish they'd add multiplayer later, even if it's just local play with friends. I don’t really need global multiplayer unless I want to try Elite Dangerous. I've resolved the field of view problem by adjusting values in the XML files, aiming for a distance over 100. I'm satisfied with 140 and hope they increase the render range so I can avoid hitting big asteroids while moving fast. Overall, it matches what I expected, just needs multiplayer features and better save options to make it more enjoyable. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10, possibly reaching 8.5 or 9 if those updates come.

They were confident about it, but Sean Murray had no room for delay. Some promises remain pending until all necessary elements are in place. The excitement will return once everything is completed.

I'm halfway through the game and still finding it enjoyable. It performs smoothly at 1440p on my system (performance specs). The only features missing from the standard release are low-altitude planetary views and a wider rendering range. I own the ED but got a bit bored after around 40 hours, and I was let down by the pricing—each update was sold at full game cost. Overall, it feels like a nice arcadey experience with great visuals and solid screenshots. I enjoy playing just to unwind, the music is pleasant, and exploring planets feels rewarding. I'm looking forward to future updates but am content with what's here now.
