I installed the RTX 3060 in a 2640 v3 system and didn't notice any noticeable difference compared to the 2670 v3 at 60 FPS. To stay within budget, I'm considering upgrading to an i7 6850K with the same platform and socket, offering 6C/12T and a 3.6GHz base clock with a turbo boost of 3.8GHz. This would be a step up from the 2640 in terms of generation and clock speed, while using 2400 RAM instead of 1866. What are your thoughts?
