Discovery lucky?
It looks like you discovered a gaming PC in your trash area. Since it hasn’t been used and there’s no smoke or odor, you might want to consider donating it, selling it, or checking if anyone nearby needs it. If you’re unsure, reaching out to local tech groups or community centers could help you find a suitable home for the device.
Take apart the unit and check each component individually; it appears one part is faulty.
Pic or GTFO! lol only joking, but some pics would be nice......You never know what people throw away. It could be the classic meme: TBH I'd just plug it in, not gonna lose anything really.
It doesn't seem probable that it was taken, as leaving such a well-preserved PC in a busy trash area with no signs of damage would be unusual. Up to now, the only components visible were a 1 terabyte SSD. I’m thinking it might be an MSI Z170A MATE motherboard. The cooler brackets hint at an Intel processor, and possibly a ROG model, though that seems unlikely given the size and lack of availability. It appears to have two G.Skill Ripjaws V modules with DDR4 RAM, each around 8 GB, plus a 1 terabyte Sabrent M2 SSD. The GPU is unclear, but since it has an RTX card on one side, it likely belongs to a series 20 or higher. The power supply is a 1000W unit. The case itself is a Corsair iCUE 220T. I’ll keep you updated once I can dig deeper.
