Discovering random components for a new PC
Hello, newcomer here! I recently set up a Ryzen PC with an Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL and attached specs via a screenshot. It was working well until yesterday when I saw one of my old WD hard drives idling at 56°C without any use. The drive is 12 years old, so I considered replacing it. I removed it because the adjacent drive was getting hot too—around 44°C. About 30 minutes later, another drive started heating up to about 49°C and rising. Not the next one next to it, but another in a different compartment that was running at 35°C while the first was getting warm. After that, my main SSD (Force MP600) reached around 49°C, which is within acceptable limits for a PCIe 4 SSD. Today, I noticed my motherboard heating up to about 45°C, likely around 35°C over the past weeks. Anyone has any ideas about what’s happening? Could it be an issue with the motherboard or power supply unit?
