I'm not sure about your feelings on tabs. They came up when OSX required them.

It doesn't work well for me. I have many programs that start when Windows launches—video encoders, a few video tools, audio apps like Steam and Defender, Samsung Magician, X55 Profiler, NVIDIA Experience, DisplayFusion, and more. The only noticeable effect is a small increase in load time, though it's minimal on an SSD.
