I wouldn't expect the analysis start time to affect the outcome.
What really counts is that all the RAM is tested.
It's also probable that the testing program operates efficiently, covering any RAM it needs.

You may need to adjust your setup so that MemTest86 boots from a USB drive instead of the Windows installation media. This doesn’t require entering BIOS or making any changes. Simply follow these steps:

There’s usually a specific function key (F8, F9, F10, F11 or F12) that opens a Boot Menu. Keep pressing the right key while turning on your computer until you see the menu. Check your motherboard manual to identify the correct key.

Once the Boot Menu appears, choose the USB drive from the options and wait for the MemTest86 interface to load. The process may look slightly different, but it should work.

MemTest86 was initially installed only in a few motherboards such as the ASUS ROG Z590 models, matching the version you would have obtained from CD, USB, or floppy disk at that time. Nevertheless, it has been updated in the past five years, so you should download the latest version and boot from it. If the memory is extremely unstable, MemTest86 may stop working immediately without displaying any error, but the progress bar and time elapsed will remain unchanged.
