I've been attempting Jedi Fallen Order and encountering frequent stutters every couple of minutes, plus noticeable issues during combat. Here are your system details and comparisons with other titles: CPU - i5 4400 Motherboard - B85M-E RAM - 24GB DDR3 799.9 DRAM Frequency 3299.2 NB Frequency (2 sticks of 16, 1 stick of 8, on proper slots) Graphics Card - 1660 OC GDDR5 PCYES Graphite Series Storage - SSD Kingston A400, 240GB, Sata III, 500MBs read, 350MBs write The Witcher 3 - Maxed out graphics with rare stutters (never bellow 60fps) Dishonored 2 - Maxed out graphics with rare stutters (never bellow 80fps) Destiny 2 - Maxed out graphics with rare stutters (never bellow 90fps) Warframe* - Maxed out graphics with some stutters (sometimes bellow 50fps) Warframe* - I’m unsure why these glitches occur so often and at such high drop rates; usually the game runs around 150-180fps, but suddenly drops to about 40 frames. If anyone can assist, it might be a problem with my setup or something I’m missing. Alternatively, could the CPU be limiting performance? I’ve been considering upgrading to a Xeon v3 system, as benchmarks suggest it could help with gaming.
I'm really invested in Fallen Order and the occasional stutter feels normal for me. They happen more often at lower resolutions but become less noticeable when I switch to 1080p. Still, I don't want to play at 1080 after getting used to 1440. Can I adjust some settings to help?
