Why skip the basics and bypass the blocker?

It's been there for a while now—likely around a year or so. (Sorry, I can't recall exactly when.) *Note: Updated info from adblockplus.org about the release of AdBlock Plus 10.*

Regarding your question, I don’t see any need to revert to Internet Explorer. It still works well for basic browsing and supports Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or other non-Microsoft browsers. (That’s all I do—download the latest drivers, then install Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or sometimes Opera depending on how I feel about the setup.)

I've been a dedicated IE user for nearly two years now. I never switched back to Chrome again. The only complaint I have about IE is when I open a new tab or website and leave it loading while switching tabs—I often have to reopen it just to wait for everything to finish. This is especially frustrating given my slow internet connection.

The only concern I have is the high RAM usage sometimes. My desktop with 16GB works fine, but my laptops (just 4GB) completely consume all available memory when multiple tabs are open. Do you notice similar heavy memory consumption? I’m referring to running several tabs—like Summit Racing or Amazon—using over 8GB, while opening the same sites in Firefox, Chrome, or Opera only uses around 4-5GB.
