My combat vessel, a Vulture, is useful for combat zones and helps me earn credits for upgrading ships or purchasing new ones. Recently, I acquired an ASP and am nearing the civilized space, eager to venture into the Orion Nebula for discovery. The journey should take 2-3 weeks, during which I’ll uncover new planets and objects that may yield credits upon return. Many believe Elite feels hollow, but I find it vast and inspiring. I enjoy having choices. PowerPlay is a narrative element here; several factions vie for galactic dominance. You can join one if you wish, earning credits in the process. Right now, I prefer staying outside PowerPlay to remain a freelancer.
