I don’t own an Xbone. DicksOutForMicrosoft :? This forge thing needs specifications that are way beyond what consoles can handle.

It is primarily designed for PC. The launch of Halo 5 Forge/Custom for PC occurred on the 8th of September, 2016.

I’m excited to join Forge for Windows and can’t wait for Halo Wars 2! They mentioned needing a 970 for medium build.

The number 970 corresponds to the Ultra 1080p graphic.

Ultra 1080p is what I expected! I assumed it was for 1440p but the recommendation suggests it works well at 1440p. For this, a Titan XP would be necessary. Based on the poster, using a 770 at high settings should give around 40-50 fps.

They're not giving clear details about the required configuration. We're unsure if a full 100% forge map at Ultra 60fps is necessary, and we don't know their expectations. A stream by Microsoft is scheduled for 2 PM PST to discuss further. You don't need Titan XP; a GTX 980ti will let you play at 4k Ultra 60FPS. On Discord, most believe they're asking for high-end specs so people won't get frustrated with frame drops in a demanding map.

The top choice is to play the game for free. Signing up for the Discord server is also free, allowing you to connect with more players ^^

I first tried Discord a short while ago after hearing about it from a neighbor. I thought it might be fun, but I’m not sure it’d help me join. It seems uncommon now to see people who enjoy Halo.
