I’m experiencing intermittent connection issues with Discord and online games when others are connected to my network, specifically after upgrading to a new Xfinity Xfi router. My brother and I frequently experience dropped voice connections during Discord conversations, with his icon flashing green and me losing audio intermittently. This also occurs in games, resulting in disconnections or inability to join multiplayer sessions. The errors usually indicate connection issues but we can immediately rejoin. Sometimes the issue is isolated to one of us, and Discord will disconnect and require reconnection. I’ve tried numerous troubleshooting steps: disabling UPnP, creating new Discord servers, changing regions (which temporarily fixes the issue), reserving IPs, using Ethernet vs. Wi-Fi, re-downloading Discord, attempting port forwarding, turning off device discovery, contacting Comcast support who were unable to resolve it, and requesting a return of my previous router – all without success. The issues persist across multiple refurbished Xfi routers I've received. My last hope is enabling bridge mode and using a new router arriving tomorrow. I’m seeking advice on what might be causing these persistent connection problems.

Here’s a rewritten version of the text, focusing on clarity and conciseness:
