Hello! I’m facing a problem with the wireless mouse and keyboard not connecting reliably. The setup includes a Sony Vaio Pro SVP1321M2E, two external 24-inch displays, a Dell docking station (d3100), and a Dell mouse and keyboard bundle (KM5221W). The issue started after switching to this configuration. I’ve tried various connections and drivers, but nothing works. Additionally, the frequent notification sounds are really bothersome. Could you help me resolve this? Thank you!

You might attempt moving the mouse and receiving on the same line of sight to see if it resolves the problem. Any other device connected to the dock experiencing the same issue?

The connection between the receiver, mouse, and keyboard remains clear, whether linked to the laptop or the docking station. I haven’t tested alternative USB devices yet, but I’ll try them and keep updating. Thanks!

External HDDs and pendrives functioned adequately with any port. Dropping one of the 24'' screens helped resolve the issue, suggesting the original units might have been too demanding for this older laptop. Topic will be closed.
