Internet works well. Cables are secure (swapped two, both fine). Direct link to router confirmed—no intermediary. Tested on another PC; it’s solid. Every 10 minutes or less, globe icon appears and internet drops. Is this related to a driver? Any other issues? If it’s a driver, Windows updates aren’t showing any available ones (not even optional). How can I locate the newest driver from the manufacturer? Thanks! This is the ETH?
You can explore the information in Device Manager, or you might search for your MOBO. I’d mention what I’d say if I didn’t just glance at your post history and see you have a laptop. You might still be able to find details from the laptop itself.
I’m updating my suggestion because I’m not able to locate this information in Windows. Instead, I’ll recommend a third-party tool named HWinfo.
