you're experiencing some instability with your setup. it sounds like the voltage boost might be affecting frame rates, especially at higher speeds. turning it off helped reduce temperatures and eliminated the stuttering. others might have similar issues depending on their hardware and settings. consider checking your power delivery and thermal management to ensure stability.

It seems like your CPU might be struggling due to voltage requirements or power delivery problems. The fact that turbo boost stops stuttering could point to an issue with your PSU or motherboard, making it hard to supply the needed voltage for your overclocked chip.

It might mean Ubisoft didn’t prioritize optimizing for changing frequencies, yet your CPU could still be struggling.

Because it supports high-speed tuning doesn't mean you must keep it that way constantly

Even with an overclocked CPU, it doesn't always operate at maximum capacity, so keeping it overclocked lets it choose when to run at full power—particularly with premium components like the -K CPU, Z97 board, and H80i.

It's currently at 4.8 GHz. Would you like to try 5 GHz next?
