Jeebus, I didn't realize refresh rates got that high. (in all seriousness, there's no "m" in the refresh rate).
In any case, your TV probably isn't reporting that it supports the resolution even though it may. If you create a custom resolution profile in your GPU settings, you may be able to get it to display 1440p 60Hz

I tested 4k on GTX 980 Ti. The first thing to remove was anti-aliasing. Next, I focused on depth of field. Then improved shadow quality. After that, added ambient occlusion. Included god rays too. That’s everything I changed. Here’s a picture of Fallout 4 at 4k with and without AA.
it doesn't work, i haven't tried it yet. it should handle 1440p at 24hz or 4k at 60hz...
I have mentioned before that my TV only operates at 1440p at 24 hz, but it functions smoothly at 4k 60hz. I'm adjusting its settings to improve performance, though I'm experiencing low frame rates in certain games. My goal is to achieve consistent 60 fps at 4k ultra or higher for all games.
