Disable the Antimalware Service Executable on Windows 10 by locating its registry entry and modifying or deleting it.
I checked online, but it seems to be consuming a lot of CPU resources without any reason. People also mention it might come back after being turned off. Is that accurate? How can I turn it off completely?
Set up an antivirus program, but ensure it turns itself off afterward.
You needed to turn it on. Why do I have to rely on an antivirus? They’re all terrible.
Most folks wouldn't have one, but it's useful because internet users can act foolishly and you can disable the built-in AV. Still, it's better to shut off the CPU when idle—10 shouldn't be running much if possible, and a fresh installation of 10 would be ideal.
