You need to verify the memory integrity setting. It might be tricky since many processes and custom DLLs can impact it. Checking it could help ensure stability, especially with your current workload.

Confirming the change.
It's simply a switch in the settings.

It looks like you're quite familiar with navigating systems quickly. I'm here to help if you need a step-by-step guide. Just let me know what you'd like to do next.

Yeah, I noticed that too—I believe it’s disabled. I need to verify. I should stop using Reddit... -.- It’s active on my machine, but I didn’t enable it (and definitely didn’t do it recently; I remember checking it when I first got the laptop a few months ago).

You performed one of these actions. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/window...ts=windows It doesn’t really matter. I intentionally turned it on. Clearly, it won’t affect gaming while active guest operating systems are running.

I actually didn't... Also "Windows 10 (Pro or Enterprise), or Windows 11 (Pro or Enterprise) 64-bit Processor with Second Level Address Translation (SLAT). CPU support for VM Monitor Mode Extension (VT-c on Intel CPUs). Minimum of 4 GB memory. Note The Hyper-V role can't be installed on Windows 10 Home or Windows 11 Home." I have windows 11 HOME... PS: also the memory integrity thing is ON ... I'm sure I checked all that stuff recently, also in system information, VBS wasn't running for sure... And Hyper V is basically always the first thing I check that it's OFF on a new system, and it for sure was off... So "something" turned it all on... Also just checked with Superposition which I also just ran 2 weeks ago after a windows update when VBS was still off (I know because the update was what prompted me to check the memory integrity settings)... I'm getting 600 points less now, which is pretty significant. I don't get stutters in MHWilds, but generally I'm now more concerned with how and why Hyper V is suddenly turned on ..."

Activate Windows Features, locate the H section, and proceed accordingly.

It seems the feature isn't fully activated in Windows Features, yet the Task Manager still shows virtualization enabled. The HWInfo64 warning suggests a recent update affecting this behavior.

Virtualization is turned on in the BIOS settings. It’s unrelated to Hyper-V. You won’t notice any changes, but you can turn it off by locating the AMD SVM option in the BIOS and disabling it.

I made some adjustments in the BIOS about two weeks ago, though I haven’t used the laptop much lately. It seems Erp might have been accidentally enabled while trying to address battery discharge issues while the machine was off. I’m not sure if that’s the case, but VBS remains active. Apart from possibly re-enabling Erp again, I won’t change anything right now because I’m still investigating what’s happening. I’ll probably run the Superposition benchmark later when it’s cooler.
