It seems some Adobe tools perform well with fewer cores, based on recent tests. Your 5900X should handle single-core tasks just fine. Disabling extra cores might not hurt performance much.

You might want to check its behavior during testing. Usually extra cores don’t cause major issues and these programs often use multiple cores effectively, making it unnecessary to disable them. If you plan to turn cores off, consider shutting down all six cores in a single application.

Turning off the cores has no effect. It doesn’t matter if a program doesn’t rely on them or gains nothing from them, simply shutting them down won’t change anything.
