Hi everyone, I've completed about 95% of Dirt 3 and taken a three-week holiday before returning home. The game works perfectly normally, but when I start a race the frame rate drops significantly—from around 90 fps to just 5–10 fps. I'm not sure if this is related to the driver or something else. After reinstalling, my GTX750Ti runs smoothly with no throttling issues. Could anyone help? Thanks.

Consider reinstalling the drivers.

Typically before restarting a game, I reinstall the drivers first... But honestly, it seems like a driver problem, so try using an older WHQL driver.
