I recently purchased an RTX 3070 and have found that games using DX12 or DX12Ultimate often freeze or only reach 1080@30fps. It seems like the issue might not be with my graphics card but could relate to drivers or software settings. I've tried clearing everything with DDU and reinstalling drivers, but it didn't help. I've checked online and believe the problem goes beyond my hardware. I'm exploring other fixes and have a Ryzen 9 3900x with 32GB RAM and the RTX 3070.

Showing output cables won't lead to stuttering or a poor gaming session. When everything operates smoothly at 30hz, cables could be the issue. Running your system at 30hz feels unpleasant and obvious right away.

You may need to reinstall Windows. The previous driver update didn’t go well, so I only had a backup option. If you’re replacing the card and don’t have a backup, start by clearing the CMOS then try a fresh installation.
