Some part of my system removed a folder that’s very important to me, and I need it back. I’m just starting with Linux and this seems really challenging for me—I’m not sure if I can fix it alone. Help would be great!

Backup options? Which filesystem should we use? If needed, I’ll forward it to a recovery expert; otherwise, I’ll create an image and attempt photorec.

Running the `rm` command can become more complicated, but using a file manager should let you view the trash and recover files.

I don’t have access to the server’s current software, but you can check for tools like Timeshift or Rsync by running commands in your terminal. For example, on Linux, you might try `ls /usr/bin` or `which rsync` to see if they’re installed. If unsure, you can ask a more experienced user or look up the server’s documentation.
