I now have a PC with 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 2666 MHz. I’m considering adding two more 4GB sticks at 2400 MHz from the same brand and series. My motherboard supports only 2400 MHz, so my current sticks aren’t running at full speed. Can I add these two slower sticks without any issues?

When you adjust RAM frequency, every module operates at the rate of the weakest DIMM in the group. This ensures smooth performance.

Ensure operation runs at the minimum pace. Match identical speeds in odd-even positions.
