I’m relying on Opera’s native ad-blocking tool, which appears to function effectively. How are others managing ads on their devices or networks? Any of you trying similar approaches with positive outcomes?
He mostly used the private internet connection and asblocker ultimate mvp before, but it felt a bit too aggressive for my browsing habits.
On macOS Safari I rely on Wipr. For Chrome I employ uBlock. When using Safari on iOS, I utilize AdBlock by Future Mind—a local DNS blocker and general content filter.
Many choices are available... Adblock extensions are often the first thing that comes to mind, similar to VPNs but they're subscription-based, and custom filtering tools need a dedicated computer or virtual machine.
I previously used AdBlock Plus, but now I favor uBlock Origin, which consumes fewer resources. This difference is especially clear on my Android phone running Firefox.
