You can remove the bottom version by uninstalling the Windows installation files or using a disk cleanup tool to delete unnecessary system files.

I support the MSConfig Best way as Go Start Type. There’s no need to search for a location to type. Go Boot Delete the one you don’t want. I have only one Windows 10, and I’m hoping it works if you have two.

The approach remains consistent across Windows 2000, XP, and likely Win7. For dual-booting, you can tailor the OS title in Notepad. This feature was eliminated with Windows 8.
