These speedtest results vary because of how the connection is tested. Using a browser or an app can affect the measurement differently. Even with the same setup and internet plan, factors like network routing, server location, and device performance play a role. It’s normal for results to differ slightly.

Have you tested the app several times? Your connection might have been unstable during that specific trial.

I've been testing it across three distinct servers over the last two weeks.

I don’t rely on the speedtest app since it seems faulty. When I run a test (1gbps down, 100mbps up), it displays 2000mbps for upload.

It might also apply to me, and I suspect it could be an issue, though I don’t know for sure.

Focus on practical performance rather than just scores. Real-world results matter more than isolated numbers. The main concern should be how it behaves under everyday conditions, even if it doesn’t consistently reach top speeds from one source at once. The real issue often lies in slower real-life performance. For testing, use the official sites like speedtest.net, fast.com, and dslreports.com to confirm it’s not a single app or site problem. You can also check with other devices—like a smartphone—to see if speeds drop compared to your PC. WiFi interference from a router might affect results, so it could help to compare speeds on different networks.
