Hello! I attempted to use Google before sharing this here, but it didn’t work. My setup uses the cmw16gx4m2e3200c16 kit, and I just got the cmw16gx4m2c3200c16 without seeing any differences. Are there any significant timing changes or XMP issues? Corsair’s site doesn’t mention problems, so I’m assuming it’s fine. Please let me know if anyone has useful tips.

The 2600x memory controller can only handle memory speeds up to 2933 MHz. It seems the new memory kit might prevent XMP from working.

So here’s the short summary: The timing differences are minor, but the setup isn’t perfect. I’d have three out of four modules working, though my Hyper 212 EVO keeps the fourth spot from fitting right. It looks good when you look, but a few pins need tweaking. After all, Amazon’s return rules make it easier to fix things. It’s a useful lesson.
