I've been thinking about AMD for a while now. I kept checking prices and performance specs, but Intel still feels more appealing to me. The total setup (CPU + motherboard) is more affordable than the 3300x with a b450, let alone the 3600 plus a pricier b450. Which graphics card will you use with this? Or are you going for the integrated graphics?
I don’t get it either. If you don’t have enough GPU power and won’t upgrade soon, shouldn’t you pick something that fits your budget instead? There seems to be a small difference in FPS even after upgrading the GPU. I thought about getting a better GPU so the CPU wouldn’t be limited, but I checked several sources. Also, if you’re considering an i3 10100, what kind of motherboard would work best?
If you need an i-gpu, go for the 10100—though it's still not great value. Since you're using a CPU with a dedicated GPU, opt for a 3300x. It offers better value and is cheaper. You won’t have to worry about Intel’s H and B series boards. Short version: stick to budget options and skip Intel if possible.
