Difference between G.SKILL Trident Z Neo/G.SKILL Trident Z
I assemble a PC using an AMD 3800x, ASUS ROG Strix X570-F gaming with dual-channel setup and two 8GB G.SKILL Trident Z CL 16-19-19-39 RAM (not NEO). After updating the BIOS, I manually set the memory frequency to 3600MHZ since the BIOS only displays 2133. Another issue arises: the Trident Z Lighting Control isn't functioning at all. Is this typical? Has anyone experienced similar problems? Thank you for your assistance!
Money matters, tiny delays can grow when looking at extremes, yet GSKILL is already top tier. Just pick the one and ignore any changes you might see. Every RAM needs you to boost its speed from 2133, but the motherboard won’t handle it on its own.
Ryzen IMCs have evolved significantly, moving beyond being tailored solely for Ryzen. This shift is evident in many QVLs, indicating boards now feature pre-set timings and dies undergo extensive testing. While not a memory specialist, there’s potential for further progress. I’d point to the explanation page, though it leans more toward promotional content.
