I've been checking motherboards and saw A320 and A520 models. I understand A320 isn't compatible with Ryzen 5000 series, but is there more to it than that?
Opt for the b450 instead of a520 to expand your choices in BIOS and improve your ability to configure settings.
Unless you're purchasing it at no cost, avoid the A320. Those boards were constructed with minimal expense, and many are quite likely to malfunction. A520 and B450 typically cost similarly, with the B450 offering significantly more capabilities and support for each Ryzen CPU (except on most boards). Unless you're buying an A520 extremely cheaply, the additional $10 at most you'd pay for the B450 is a good investment.
These boards are typically sold at a lower price in the ITX market, often around 30-40 dollars less.
The MSI B450M Pro-VDH offers significant value compared to a $10 higher price. Unless you're extremely budget-conscious, it's a worthwhile investment.
