Didn't understand which NVME adapter works with my Lenovo Thinkpad T480
The manual does not mention "NVMe" directly. On page 108, it refers to "M.2," which may refer to a SATA M.2 device.
Lenovo's own parts page for the T480 only shows M.2 NVMEs, not M.2 SATA drives.
All third-party parts pages I found list M.2 NVMEs as well, but not SATA.
The WD SN580 NVME I installed into the adapter worked fine.
There are many videos showing people installing a M.2 NVME in a T480 with that adapter included in the manual.

Is there any mention of requesting a particular part number from Lenovo regarding this adapter?
Without a precise
identified model, finding something reliable is quite a gamble.
