If you're ready to use handbrake, let me know! I noticed many tutorials vary, so I'd like someone to create optimal settings for me. I don't want to sacrifice quality. I plan to record games like BF4 and GTA V at 1080p with 30 FPS for about 10-15 minutes. My recordings usually come in around 450-500 MB. Thanks!
I occasionally rely on Handbrake. After recording 1080p at 30fps for 15 minutes, the resulting files are impressive in terms of compression quality.
I'm not sure, but if you're running an i3 you'll definitely lag behind. A ratio between 1.75 and 2 for processing power means your i5 should be 1.75 to 2 times faster in encoding. I plan to encode 15 minutes of 1080p at 30fps using these settings and report the time taken.
