I'm looking for a specific Corsair 700W power supply unit. I don't think I've seen one in years; usually, those models are around ten or fifteen years old now. You probably need an 850W unit instead of the 650W, and GameMax isn't known as a reliable brand for this job. A good 700W power supply is likely more than enough. I'm also a bit puzzled about those eight-pin connectors on your PC. It's hard to tell from what you wrote, but there seems to be a chance that you've been wiring them wrong. If this is the case, it might mean your computer parts aren't working right anymore, and just switching out an old power supply won't help things get fixed.
I put a brand new system together with a Corsair 700-watt power supply. Everything is working fine now. It started up, I set up Windows 11 Pro, and all my games are running fast on the 500-watt SSD. Thanks!
Oh no, that scares me a lot. I wish it was just a kid model like the old Corsair GS 700.
