Hey everyone - maybe I have an ID 10 T error, but I'm trying to figure out what kind of patch panel this is. It looks like the other half with the row of female RJ45 connectors is missing. Does anyone know what this thing is? Do I need to cut this thing out entirely and put in a "regular" patch panel from scratch? https://drive.google.com/file/d/195Mxy0N...sp=sharing

Other folks around here might say something extra, but it's basically just old-school phone wires. Nothing that actually works with Ethernet.

Ohhhh that sounds cool! Because the labels on those wall ports say "Cat5e." But if they are all Cat5e, why am I confused? This picture shows one panel. It has a coax cable and blue wires too, plus white ones. The white cables go everywhere else in my house, and those spots also have Cat5e markings on the jacks...

It's set up for phones, though it isn't ready for a regular Ethernet cable.

The entire house needs a complete rewire, not just an ethernet switch because that won't work for the job.
