I believe someone purchased a 2650V4 CPU. Due to Amazon’s trust in customers, the buyer returned it with an entirely different item, and then it was placed back on the shelf. Alternatively, you might have bought it from a third-party seller attempting to deceive people—avoid expensive items from such sources on Amazon.

It seems you're curious about the specifics of the CPU. Let me clarify what that means.

Oh yeah the difference between those two IHS is night and day. This was from Amazon.com as the seller and shipper?

Yes, I purchased the most recent model available. The other options come from third-party sellers.

The circuit board seems very green, and the heatspreader appears quite basic. It doesn’t look like it’s functioning properly. I’d suggest reaching out to Amazon for a replacement CPU or a refund.

Absolutely push boundaries. Reach out before 10 PST to connect with someone from the U.S. Get some real empowerment. Also, leave a 2-star or lower review—they check all low ratings and message the reviewers to fix issues.

Hello, my apologies for digging up this old thread, however I'm facing the exact same situation today. This CPU with LGA2011v4 is a mystery and at this point, not even the seller knows what is going on. I was wondering, what happened with your case finally? Did Amazon take it back and most important, did you get any explanation for this? Thanking you in advance.
