The 7700k needs to be simplified, similar to the 8700k, or it'll overheat. Only pure 7700k models could achieve 5 ghz and needed high voltage. 8700k's might perform better.

It's still about voltage. Keep it on auto if the issue comes from the OC. Check how much voltage rises while the CPU runs. Try a different program to confirm temperatures. This isn't the first time some tools have had problems.

I adjusted the voltage settings and everything from HWMonitor shows a steady 1.280V. MSI Afterburner also confirmed the temperatures. Now I’m seeing low 90s since I ran the pump at full speed. I’m worried about overheating and think my cooler might be failing because it’s been around for several years.

Under high stress, 90C seems excessive for its intended performance. I'm new to AIOs. Using a premium air cooler allows running at 7700K without delamination, and the temperature stays within the expected range (80-90°C).
