Was it worth it to end his life? I was really relieved I could finally take him out.

Really, nothing much happened. I managed about 40% of the game, but my save got damaged afterward. I told myself not to give up and didn’t want it to happen again, so I just downloaded a full save and started doing side quests. I was really into the game until that glitch messed everything up, which ruined my motivation completely.

He mentioned he frequently experiences nightmares, struggles to sleep, and often sees his niece's face or similar images. He felt deeply affected by these issues while living.

From the beginning, Aiden's companion clings to that person, clearly realizing you'll need to decide what to do next. It's not a big surprise.

I felt sorry for him since the passing took its time. Aiden struggled to move on, even though his sister adapted quickly. Maurice described it as "being trapped in his own personal hell." I allowed him to cope.

I was thinking about hitting him hard, but taking his life might bring some closure for Maurice, since ending it seems like a tougher path than letting him survive.

Perhaps... I wasn't in the mood to harm anyone back then. It was exhausting. I believe Aiden would have benefited from letting go.
