I saved the newest BIOS for the b550m pro-vdh WiFi, completed all formatting steps on the USB to fat32, renamed it to msi.rom etc. However, in the video I was watching at the end, his LED stopped blinking and stayed on for a few seconds before the red LED turned off. It seems like the PSU just shut down and came back on. Did the BIOS flashing fail? (I have an R5 5600 and the motherboard says only Ryzen 3000 series is ready, the GPU I ordered isn’t here yet, so I thought flashing the BIOS was a good idea) 20230428_101531.mp4

Only one approach exists: test it. What can be lost? Without GPU, it will still post. It might pause and report no graphics, indicating CPU is active. Stay calm, if it's a defective flash, any action taken is pointless. Trying won't worsen the situation.
