I own the roccat kone pro air where the mouse wheel is broken 2 steps forward and 3 steps back, like scrolling on web pages and going down one level then back two. In games such as apex, a working scroll wheel is essential to play properly, especially for actions like deathbox looting or changing keybinds in special modes. This issue isn’t covered by warranty yet, but I bought it on Amazon. I’m trying to understand how to repair it and some users report similar problems, so I’m unsure if I should replace the mouse or switch brands. I’m looking for a good model suited for larger hands with palm or claw grip.

You can reach out to the seller/Amazon and Roccat via email to address the concern. If I were you, I would use video and audio recordings to support your account and share my findings through their email or ticketing system. Considering the cost of the item, it makes sense to initiate an RMA rather than accepting a defective product during its warranty period.

Yes, the replacement is arriving by the 8th. Roccat was quite quick in responding to my request to return this one, and everything is fine. Thank you very much!
