Hello
I own four Razer RGB gadgets:
Tartarus Keypad
BlackWidow Keyboard (bought a few months back)
DeathAdder Mouse
Firefly Mouse Pad
All of them work well with Razer Chroma and the lighting issues on my old Windows 11 machine were resolved.
Last week I upgraded to a new computer again (Windows 11). I reinstalled Razer Chroma exactly as before (thank you, cloud!). The Chroma Profile works correctly on all four devices, though occasionally the keyboard lights stop working. It only happens with my keyboard and isn’t consistent.
I’ve tried several things so far:
- Uninstalling/restarting Synapse didn’t help.
- Exiting and re-entering Synapse while the keyboard was off didn’t make a difference.
- Changing profiles in Chroma Studio or switching games/app didn’t fix the problem except for my keyboard, which stayed black even though it showed as working.
- Changing settings while the keyboard was off also had no effect.
I’m running out of ideas and would appreciate any suggestions from others who might have faced similar issues.
Thanks in advance.
😊

Wow! It worked. Can you clarify why altering the USB port matters? Also, I’ll need to check later to see if it continues to function properly.

It can be challenging to identify precisely what's causing the issue. The system's age might affect whether it supports usb 2.0, usb 3.0, usb 3.1, etc., leading to varying data transfer speeds through the ports as they are integrated into devices. Possible reasons include port speed limitations, occasional glitches, specific port issues, poor cable connections, dust accumulation, or the device needing faster ports. Uncertain about the keyboard's condition. Thank you for the update.
