Did I win the silicon lottery?
So I'm just beginning to overclock my Ryzen R5 1500x CPU. I'm currently at 3.9 ghz and stable at 1.29 volts. While using the standard cooler, I'm experiencing high temperatures around the 70s with CPU and FPU stress tests in AIDA64. I'm wondering if this voltage is suitable for this chip.
Stroz asked if he won the silicon lottery.
Stroz explained his situation about overclocking his Ryzen R5 1500x CPU, noting the voltage settings and performance issues. He mentioned the readings from HWMonitor and AIDA64 and expressed uncertainty due to the low voltage output.

I just began overclocking my Ryzen R5 1500x CPU (just starting out, by the way) and am currently at 3.9 ghz with stable performance at 1.29 volts. When using the stock cooler, I’m reaching the 70s in both CPU and FPU stress tests on AIDA64, so I’m wondering if this voltage is suitable for this chip. What should I do next?
Stroz ran it and everything worked well. Gaming performance peaked near 60 degrees, and under stress tests reached up to 80. These temperatures seem normal and safe for stock cooler overclocking. 80 is a bit warm, but still well below the threshold where the CPU would slow down due to heat. If you keep pushing at that level, a better cooler might be advisable.
I installed additional case fans and lowered the maximum temperature during stress tests to 77 degrees. I plan to replace some of the standard parts with Arctic Silver 5 later. Gaming performance is much lower here—around 55-60 degrees—and idle stays between 39-42 degrees. Would you think this setup can run safely on the cooler, or should I consider a better option?

Gaming performance is still around 55-60 degrees and idle at 39-42 degrees, so do you think this clock can run safely on this cooler or should I look for a better one? I believe it might be possible if you can push up to 4.1Ghz after installing the new cooler.
