Hello!
I purchased a Gigabyte R7 360 2gb OC edition. I tried AMD Overdrive, raising both the GPU and memory clocks to their maximum settings. After about five seconds, the screen went black. I had to restart the computer, but everything worked afterward. I was able to play an hour of Dying Light without issues, and the GPU maintained a stable temperature of around 41°C during load. I have a three-year warranty for this video card. Did I lose it because of this?

Your fine, you didn't apply enough voltage for the card to reach those clocks, which caused it to shut down. If you raise the voltage, your warranty might be voided because no card is guaranteed to overclock there—only the original clocks would be covered. Additionally, any damage you caused isn't the company's responsibility, so your warranty is likely to be voided as well.

Likely, the majority of cards feature forward-looking aspects such as warranties and overclocking capabilities. Should you have concerns, review the documentation provided for the card.

The packaging indicates that the item is not covered by warranty if it has been changed, modified, or fixed without permission from GIGABYTE.

Dear asot,
Please be aware that if you require overclocking or manually adjusting any setting on the GV-N670OC-2GD with OC II, we cannot guarantee successful results. Should the overclock attempt lead to physical damage, it will result in warranty cancellation. Thank you for your understanding.
Regards,
GIGABYTE

Thus, kindly note that any overclock setting that leads to physical damage will invalidate the warranty. Thank you for your understanding.

The video card turned off after a couple of seconds, which means it likely couldn't connect to any external devices, and there were no physical damages.
