I received the X870i model by accident and mistakenly connected the front panel USB 3 cable incorrectly. After fixing the orientation, everything is functioning properly. Are there any concerns you should be aware of? I've included some detailed photos for your review. Please let me know if anything looks damaged.

Thank you. My OCD is getting intense about possibly harming the new motherboard.

Since it's set up this way, make sure you didn't actually place it there. If you did, you probably bent the pins. As long as it's still working, everything is okay.

You placed it incorrectly by misaligning the pins. To verify, use a large file such as a Windows ISO image, save it on your system drive, copy it to a USB port connected device, run a checksum to confirm the files match exactly. Any discrepancies likely indicate header damage; otherwise, it should be fine.

Sure, I can clarify further. From the pin perspective, I’ll check for any signs of wear or damage. Let me take a closer look.

I completed the verification, and the checksums match. Everything is fine now.
