I was running my HDD while watching a video on my PC, and everything seemed normal. After turning it off to try another setup, I realized the issue persists—my PC won’t boot at all, and the Debug message keeps showing it’s stuck on the GPU. Unplugging the HDD might damage the GPU if you restart it, so I’m unsure what’s happening.

Did you take out a connected hard drive from an active computer? It’s possible it could damage the power supply unit or trigger a safety shutdown.

It was fortunate only the GPU was affected, not the CPU or RAM. Avoiding any action while the power switch remains on is crucial. Plugging in or unplugging devices can trigger a sudden voltage spike, affecting any system. Ideally, let the computer rest for a moment before disconnecting it. Ensure proper grounding to prevent static shocks, which highlight the hidden power in your hands. Static electricity forms when electrons jump between objects with opposite charges. A strong handshake happens when one person has a negative charge and the other doesn’t. Stay safe and informed.
