Diagnose the issue with random freezing on your PC.
So i have had this problem for a while now. In random time my pc just freezes and there is now errors or kernel info in event manager my quess is its about windows doing something to cause this freeze. And i really mean random times i dont even need to use it to happen it can happe even in sleep mode and lockscreen. Second option is GPU or motherboard slot it is in PCI slot. Computer does not turn off by is own i have to force shutdown by pressing the power button. When the freeze happens there is no sound and screen picture just freezes. All drivers shoud be up to date. GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3070 Ti AORUS Master - 8GB GDDR6X CPU: Intel Core i9-10850K Ram: Kingston 32GB (2x16GB) HyperX Fury, DDR4 Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z590-F GAMING WIFI, ATX Hard drive: Seagate 3TB Barracuda SSD: Samsung 1TB 870 QVO SSD M.2: Samsung 250GB 960 EVO SSD SSD M.2: Kingston 1TB A2000 CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken X73, 360mm Black Power: Asus ROG Strix 850W (Gold) Case: Fractal Design Define R5 (Black) Windows 11
Open Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc) and look in Windows Logs > System or Application for any critical errors or warnings near the freeze moment. This check might help us identify what happened around that time.
Hi, at 17:05 I left my PC running and went to the gym. I returned at 19:19, but during that time it froze somewhere. I have screenshots from my event logger and system logs. The system restarted at 19:19 and continued running when I came back.
It occurred once more. The event took place at 16.58, and the PC was restarted at 16.59.
Disconnect all devices, including the keyboard, mouse, and headset, remove their software, then pause again.
It was a mistake in time—it occurred here. The critical kernel is the force reset.

Typical reasons for kernel power failures and power supply problems include a weak or insufficient PSU, which can lead to sudden shutdowns when the system is under load. Make sure your power supply meets the demands of your hardware, especially after upgrading components like the graphics card. Excessive heat from overheating CPUs or GPUs may also trigger shutdowns; use monitoring tools such as HWMonitor or Core Temp to keep temperatures in check. Outdated or mismatched drivers, particularly for graphics cards and chipset, can cause instability—update them regularly. Failing or defective RAM can result in random crashes; run memory diagnostics to verify integrity. Storage problems, such as a failing boot drive or hard disk, can also cause crashes; use chkdsk or CrystalDiskInfo to assess drive health. Incorrect power settings, like enabling fast startup or improper sleep configurations, may interfere with normal operation; adjust these in the Control Panel. Corrupted system files can lead to unexpected shutdowns—run sfc /scannow and DISM in Command Prompt as admin. Lastly, hardware faults such as motherboards, GPUs, or CPUs may need stress testing with tools like Prime95 or FurMark to ensure stability. These points highlight common issues and solutions.
