Model details: Ryzen 5 9600x Coolermaster Hyper212 ASRock B850 Pro RS Intel ARC B580 (ASRock Steel Legend) T-Force Vulcan DDR5 2x16GB 6000MTs CL38 RAM Corsair 750x Shift Patriot P400 1TB NVMe SSD. First startup lights both CPU and memory, but fails to boot. After power cycle, fans speed up and system launches. Works normally after initial boot each day. Attempted CMOS reset and BIOS update. Motherboard has two RAM slots but only one is active; CPU remains stable and PBO is off. No prior issues similar to this.

Consider rearranging your CPU and RAM, as it seems there might be an issue with the connection. Additionally, inspect the CPU socket for any signs of damage.

I’d give it a try and also look at your battery and jumper. If they’re dead or failing, it could cause some issues with the penys—no big deal to check and replace them. The jumper post might need swapping if it’s set to clear, and the first boot should sort itself out after a clear. Just saw this once but it left a lasting impression on me… (8 hours of thinking about it)
