Diagnose NFS performance issues with ~30 FPS on 1080 Ti and Ryzen 3600 processor.
I understand this might not be the right forum. I've already tried almost everything to fix it—user.cfg hotfix, Vsync, NVIDIA control panel settings, all configurations. Disabled overlays (origin, nvidia, Xbox) and overclocking tools, viva/fraps, killed processes. Turned off all settings and got 32 FPS; at 200 resolution scale I’m only getting 26-30 FPS. I’m frustrated and almost giving up. Playing on Origin, EA Play subscription, using an SSD. GTX 1080 Ti, Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB RAM.
It seems the game is quite poorly programmed, requiring a lot of CPU and GPU power. You mentioned making user or configuration changes, but no noticeable gains were observed. The article you referenced appears unusual, possibly suggesting a low frame rate—maybe you won’t even reach 60 FPS. It’s unlikely you’ll surpass 30 FPS unless something changed. Double-check your settings; disabling features like volumetric lighting or rendering might help. Also, testing at lower resolutions such as 720p could provide clearer performance data.
