I recently got a system with Windows 10; B450m pro4; Ryzen 7 2700; 16GB DDR4 1333MHz without a graphics card, so I added my old GeForce 210 just for display purposes. After booting up, the card functioned but I struggled to adjust the resolution to match my monitor. Windows automatically downloaded the drivers, which caused issues—my screen would tear and flicker, making it unusable. Once I removed the drivers, the problems stopped, though setting the right resolution remained a challenge. Is there a way to make this outdated card work smoothly on Windows 10?

Consider trying to install the driver from Nvidia. Occasionally Windows Update adds strange or faulty drivers. Even the newest version doesn’t always work, especially for older cards that haven’t been updated since 2016. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/112596/

Used DDU to remove the driver, then downloaded the newest version but the issue persisted.

Consider these options. It’s possible the newest version has a flaw, but updating from an older driver could still help. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/87988/

Display without the software. Showing with the system installed (captured a picture from a recorded video, sorry for the low quality)
